My opponent has Leyline of the Void in play. I bounce it with a spell. Will my bounce spell be exiled or placed in my graveyard?
First, your spell bounces Leyline of the Void. Then the spell card is put into your graveyard, because Leyline isn't on the battlefield anymore.

So what happens with Lightning Bolt on a Tarmogoyf with only a Land and a Sorcery in the graveyards?
Basically what I'm asking; why does the Tarmogoyf live and why is the bounce spell put in the graveyard?

Because Lightning Bolt does not destroy Tarmogoyf. Damages caused by Lightning Bolt might cause the destruction of Goyf as a State Based Effect. As a summary, any creature dealt damage with lightning bolt will go the grave only after the resolution to the spell, when SBE are checked.

What Maveric sais is correct.
No state based effecst get checked during the resolution of a spell. At the end of the resolution Lightning Botl will go to the graveyard and only then will state based effects be checked.
Tarmogoyf's P/T is defined by the cards in graveyard and so it will count the bolt.
On the other hand, if you would play StP in the same situation you would only gain 2 life and not 3 because the lifegain happens during resolution before Swords to Plowshares goes to the graveyard.

Oh right, I understand:
Lightning Bolt is on the stack, it resolves: Goyf has 3 damage and Bolt is in the graveyard. Now SBE are checked and sees Goyf is a 3/4.
Bounce is on the stack, it resolves: Leyline of the Void is returned to hand and the bounce sees no reason not to go to the graveyard.
