Running another Eternal Weekend at my store, Die Hard Games, on March 13th-14th.

The Legacy portion will be on Sunday the 14th.

Here's teh rundown:

3rd: 4 Bayou
4th: 4 Plateau

5th: 4 Flooded Strand
6th: 4 Bloodstained Mire
7th: 4 Wooded Foothills
8th: 4 Windswept Heath

9th: 4 Scalding Tarns
10th: 4 Verdant Catacombs
11th: 4 Arid Mesa
12th: 4 Marsh Flats

Top 4 prizes based on 20 people, top 8 prizes based on 25 people, and top 12 prizes based on 30 people.

Will payout additional prizes at 40 or more players! =o

Cost: $25 (this includes free lunch of pizza/soda! =)
$1 off if you played in Saturday's Vintage $10 Mox Sapphire Tournament!

Both events require decklists. Sunday's legacy is competitive (24!) k value.

My first Eternal Weekend went great and I'm hoping this one will be even bigger/better.

Thanks for the kind words. Feedback has been strong for this event. Still working on the duals for 3rd and 4th, but they will each be playsets and that update should be coming soon.

I do have an update right now ;)

Since I was not able to secure a Worldwake Game day, I'm running another Eternal event on that day instead. Sat March 6th will be a $10 Vintage tournament for a Library of Alexandria and a foil Polluted Delta. Third/4th are each 2 foil FTV Beserk. Anyone who plays in both my $10 Vintage tourneys on the 6th and the 13th will receive $1 in store credit! Additional info on that tournament found here:

The $10 Library tournament should be a great lead-in to Eternal Weekend. I really loaded up on March with Eternal Events.

Heh thanks. Updated them a little more. Added 4x Badlands to prize pool. Will announce the final set of dual lands in the prize pool shortly.

I try to always mix-up my prize support for these events while consistently giving out above expectations. Paying out to top 12 is something I've wanted to do for a while. I haven't had Seas in the prize pool for a couple months (because I ran out :p). I now have more so this seemed like as good a time as any to give them away.

I'm looking forward to this event very much and it should cap off my second Eternal Weekend nicely. Remember if you played in Saturday's 3/13 $10 Mox Tourney you will receive $1 off to this event.

Still working on details for this since it's a little while away, but I believe it will be a great tourney. I've made alot of friends from these legacy tournaments and I appreciate each and every person who walks through the door of my store.

Will have plenty of updates in the weeks to come for this event, just wanted to thank you and others for the kind words and feedback so far.

Also quick reminder this weekend is my Extended 4 Goyf tournament for only $10 :cool:

Also added that I will payout additional prizes (yes, past 12th :) at 40 or more players.

I've hovered around mid 30's alot for my past events (39 for last month's :p), but still haven't actually broke 40 players yet for legacy.

I'm hoping this will be the tourney.

Either way I'm proud to have Legacy as a staple format of my store and look forward to seeing all the familiar faces plus hopefully some new ones.

As for upcoming events prior to Eternal Weekend, I was just cleared to run Worldwake Game Day (better late than never). I had already booked a Vintage tourney on this date so that will still be going off at 1pm. That is a $10 20 proxy for Library, Foil Delta and 4 Foil Beserk.

Joining the Vintage tourney will be another main event start at noon. A $10 standard with all entrants receiving game day promos and top 8 getting Kalistra Highborn full art textless foil promos (that was a mouthful :p). Top 8 will receive additional prizes based on attendance, and first will win a box of Wolrdwake :smile:

There will also be $14 drafts /w 5-3-2-2 prizes all day where all participants receive gameday promos.

Couple quick updates: I will definitely be present for both days of Eternal Weekend. I mentioned earlier there was a chance I wouldn't be there Sunday because of family obligations, but my sister fell in teh semis on PT: Opera... she was stuck on one land :p

So I will be there both days at 11:30. Events start promptly at 1pm. Please have decklists ready. I h8 giving out penalities so don't make me :p

Sunday's Legacy tournament is 24K which means alot of points on the line for you guys in addition to teh prizes.

A strong turnout will ensure more higher REL tourneys for me, so I'm hoping all the good attention this event has gotten on here plus other sites will payoff. Remember the more people I get, the more prizes I give out. I am paying out to top 12 as long as I get 30, which I think should be easy. Past 40 I will payout to top 16 =D

There will also be side events both weekends again for matching dual land and fetchland. They will be $5 single elim tourneys that fill up quickly. I have lots of prize packages (I sound like a game show :P) set aside for these side events.

I did terrible, got paired against tempo thresh round 1 and almost won game 1 if he hadnt had bolt on top of his deck, and g2 that round he had counters and burn for every spell I played then dropped 2 5/6 goyfs and pummelled me... Round 2 I beat rock in 2, then faced, belcher round 3, then storm combo (it ran street wraith?) in round 4 in which in both games 1 and 2 he ETW for over 16 goblins turn 1.... ugh

The top 8 was Tempo Thresh, UG Merfolk, Landstill, Belcher, Stax, UGB Countertop, and 2 UGW Countertop. Top 4 was Tempo Thresh, UGB Countertop, and both UGW Countertops. I don't know who made the finals or if they played it out.

I finished 5th with UWr landstill. Not a bad weekend a 3rd in vintage and 5th in legacy for me.

Congrats also to Justin Russell (Sunshine :) for winning my Misty/Trop side tournament. Louis Gentile got 2nd in the side tournament and won the previous day's mox tournament.

Had 29 and 31 people respectively, which I was more than happy with. I was asked alot when the next events were happening. April is clogged up with launch parties and pre-releases, but I'm working on some big ones for May ;)

Getting a Source account and X-0'ing in only my second Legacy event I now declare myself a menace to the format. Thanks Dave, this event and the Vintage on Saturday were a total blast.

I ended up 6-2 on the day, side tourney included, which is not horrible when you consider the average mana cost for my deck is something like 7. Ironic that Trinisphere would knock me out of Top8 contention :tongue:.
