MWS for Mac (VMware)

Hey guys, I have VMware Fusion for my Mac. I tried to install MWS but it doesn't seem to work when I try to load the database. When I try to assign the masterbase, it just says "Magic Workstation will now close...". Confusion ensues.

Has anyone else run into similar problems? Is there any way to fix this problem?

I've been running MWS on my Macbook via WINE for over a year now. Followed the instructions on this site (http://richshay.com/posts/70).

wine runs mws fine

or you could get parallels, im running in it and works very well

I'm running MWS on Mac with VmWare with no much trouble. Also I'm running MTGO which was a bit painful to engage but worked at last.
The only thing I can say it's that I haven't load any images on the MWS, but don't know if it would change anything.

So did you guys actually buy Magic Workstation, or is there some way to extend the trial indefinitely?

You just have to wait those tedious 5 seconds before you can click "okay" to get past the intro page.

We only have Macs at home (stupid, Mac-loving woman) and I haven't played on MWS in ages. <Sad Panda Face> I am, apparently, too dumb to figure out VmWare or any other emulators for that matter. It sucks.

VirtualBox is retardedly easy to use, just follow the excellently written Help system.
