Sorry for being a n00b but I see no way for me to be smarter something is lost in translation.
In the sticky guide it says I need to remove the .txt from the file name. I can't? How do I do this. I am not super computer savvy. Next time someone writes a sticky spend time giving clearer instructions not everyone has the same OS. I am running Windows XP.

This is for OCTGN 2.0 (OCTGN is six years outdated). Open any folder on your computer and click on either File or Organize depending on your OS. It will show a pull down menu.

Click on Folder and Search options, then View, then uncheck the box that says "Hide extensions for known file types"

Also, the torrent's host informed me that he is going to take down the torrent with all the sets in a week or two due to bandwidth issues...

You will still be able to download them from the http://www.mediafire.com/sets link but they won't be bundled together for you neatly so that it's quick and painless.

So if you want to try OCTGN 2.0 and get it bundled with all the newest sets so that it's minimal work, you should get it now.

Even if you already tried it before, I urge you to try it again, it gained a metric ton of new features and functionality over the past few months.
