I remember back in the halcyon days of Xth-Alara standard (the last time I played standard seriously) There was a card that went by the name of Sedraxis Specter. I always thought that it was the bee's knees, and had implications in so many decks. Alas, I decided not to blow all of my money on 5cc (being the smart boy I am), but I've always loved the little balloon.
Pro's:
Pitches to Force
Flies
Bigger than hippie
Even if it eats a bolt, it can come back for more

Con's:
Heavy mana requirement in a wasteland-infected meta
Drops after Goyf, can't be Ritualed in like Hippie
Keeps you from running green for Goyf with any success
Dies to removal
Discard isn't random

which leads to the question, where does this guy fit in?
obviously, he doesn't mind being put to the grave. I've re-adopted my old Dredgestill concept now that I remembered he existed.

He seems like he'd work pretty well in any Standstill-based deck though.
Thoughts?

Why not go aggressive with the card and play it in more of a multi-color aggro deck? I was originally kicking it around when rebuilding Chrome Mox Aggro, since the Specter counts toward 3 colors on the Chrome Mox and what happened to be the decks biggest problem is coming through for those last points of damage at the end of the game. I currently don't have a list to show how the Specter can be supported but even when you think about it, it's not that bad of a card occasionally for Survival to Unearth (not to play).

well in that crap list above I originally ran Cabal Therapy, but I think he better fills the slot.

[SCD] should all start with this Sedraxis Specter.
