Looking for an answer to Iona for my deck.

I am playing a Green/Black deck with no other color splashes. As of right now I have no way to kill a resloved Iona naming black. I play 2 living wishes and I am trying to find a good wish target that can kill Iona. I am aware of a few creatures that can kill flyers however, im sure there are much better ones out there that I do not know, seeing as I own mostly type 2 cards. Any suggestions?

I really like the Karakas land it seems perfect but, here is my deck list for other suggestions.

Elvish Skysweeper, is pretty slow but it will kill an Iona, and future ones too.

Oran-Rief Recluse will also get the job done but he's expensive.

Duplicant is probably better than both of those.

Karakas is probably the best option.

Throat Slitter (http://www.deckbox.org/mtg/throat%20slitter). I know it seems terribad, but all you need is a single beater on the field and Iona HAS to block.

Lignify may help.
Arashi, The Sky Asunder.
Any number of Hurricane type effects or Windstorm if you are worried about life.
Whirlwind, Wing Snare or Slingbow Trap.

Maelstrom Pulse + Pernicious Deed + Death Cloud seems overkill to me. I'd cut whichever is the slowest of the three and fill those slots with Shriekmaws, then add 1 Karakas in the sideboard.

Why Iona in particular?

With your deck playing so many creatures that you don't mind bouncing back to your hand, Noetic Scales is one option.

Or you could play Nev's Disk, or Ensnaring Bridge.

The 1/2 elf that tap and destroy a creature with flying and cost G could be an option. That, and play black removal so you can remove iona no matter what color they choose, and you can also remove other flying fatties.

Cut Deathclouds and a Maelstrom Pulse to add Shriekmaw. Fit in a third Living Wish and add Karakas as a target.
