First things first. I'm quite a legacy noob, as paper legacy isn't an option where I live and I dislike MWS. I only have theoretical and semi-theoretical (from MTGO Classic) knowledge about the format. However, as most of you know, legacy is now coming to MTGO, so I'm looking/brainstorming for, a neat deck or two to play. This is an idea I had while looking at Imperial Painter and DnT. Also, if the mods feel this belongs in another thread or anything like that, please just lock/move this.

The idea itself is to have a deck with even more of a swiss army knife approach than Imperial Painter by playing more tutors and singletons, something like:

Tutors:
4*Imperial Recruiter
4*Stoneforge Mystic
4*Trinket Mage

Targets:
X*Magus of the Moon
X*Painter's Servant
X*Equipment
X*Grindstone
X*Mangara
X*Trinket Package

Help:
4*Vial
X*Stuff

The core allows for a very modular deck, where meta-dependent choices easily can be slotted in or out and found by the tutor ogre/squires. Vial allows for some pretty sweet card-chaining plays and there's still plenty of space MD for protection, beatdown, Moons, Cataclysm, acceleration or whatever. As for the manabase, I'm thinking at least four two-mana lands and maybe some SSGs

Please note that this is just a rough idea and I by no means claim this as superior or even equal to IP or DnT, I just liked the idea and this type of deck suits my playstyle.

Now, let me know what you think. Does this have an inkling of potential or is it too slow, fragile and/or unfocused?

4*Imperial Recruiter = red
4*Stoneforge Mystic = white
4*Trinket Mage = blue

X*Magus of the Moon = you can't do this

Anyhoo, while these 'tutors on a stick' seem like alot of fun, and they are, they are also terribly slow. This looks like a slow unfocused deck that really needs your opponent to do next to nothing to be able to stand a chance.
