Gstone+Painter vs EE

here is my question, say it goes like this :

player A : drop EE for 2 and has 2 land untapped, eot
player B : CoT & Atomb in play, tap CoT play Gstone
Player A : ok
player B : drop another CoT, tap it, drop Painter on White
Player A : ok
Player B : Tap ATomb and use the last land of the CoT to activate Gstone
Player A : Activate EE

what happens ?

EE resolve => destroy painter then Gstone resolve :
1) last known information = everything is White, Game
2) Painter has been whiped so it's only a 2 card mull ?

Grindstone will finish it's effect as much as it can, but all the cards in the library will not be made white anymore.

Grindstone checks the color of the cards on resolution. By the time Grindstone's ability resolves, Painter's Servant will already have been removed, ending the color-changing effect. Once Grindstone's ability does resolve, it will behave as if Painter's Servant was never in play in the first place.

Last Known Information: Information about an object that's no longer in the zone it's expected to be in, or information about a player that's no longer in the game. This information captures that object's last existence in that zone or that player's last existence in the game. See rules 112.7a, 608.2b, 608.2g, and 800.4f.

Last Known Information is used for objects that have left the expected zone, but has zero to do with the (former) effects of those objects.
