The question is: is Chromatic Star's draw effect triggered? I think it is, meaning that this scenario is possible.

Pay B, using Star to switch to U, card draw on the stack. Mystical Tutor, grab Tendrils, resolve, Star draws.

Is this correct?

Yes, this trick works with Chromatic Star. It does not work with Chromatic Sphere though.

I figured that bit out, that's why I'm using the Star as my SDT replacement right now.
