Its rare that I can say I agree so whole heartedly with an article, but this is one of those. I hope something comes of it.

Thanks for answering my question.

Personally, in a world of annoying equipments (e.g. Excalibur on MTGTheSource/Bant on SCG.com) and Vials, I prefer Q. Pridemage to T. Predator, since Pridemage can potentially get rid of the annoying artifact/enchantment the turn he (i.e. Pridemage) comes into play. This is actually relevant when you don't want Vial/Jitte counters to go up (or vs a tapped Vial), if you don't want to grant your opponent an attack with Sword of F. & I. (or L. & S.) - in particular when your opponent "Mystic's" an equipment into play on his turn. Anyhow, you also made good points concerning T. Predator, I just prefer Q.P. these days...
