I present the funny, but sometimes unfairly broken Timmy.dec :
This should be a 14 year old magic player's dream ;) You are supposed to yell 'Timmy!' whenever you drop emrakul :)
But hey, it might actually work.
Timmy enablers (14):
4 Survival of the fittest
3 Natural order
2 Show and tell
3 Pattern of rebirth
1 Squee, goblin nabob
1 Loyal retainers
Timmy tutor (2):
2 Mystical tutor
Timmy disruption (10):
3 Duress
3 Thoughtseize
4 Cabal therapy
Timmy must go faster (7):
4 Birds of paradise
3 Noble hierarch
Timmy has walls (4) :
4 Tarmogoyf
Timmy *m-sturbates furiously* when reading these cards (4):
2 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
1 Progenitus
1 Iona, shield of emeria
Timmy land (19):
1 Dryad arbor
1 Forest
2 Swamp
4 Verdant catacombs
2 Polluted delta
2 Misty rainforest
4 Bayou
1 Tropical island
1 Underground sea
1 Savannah
Goal of the deck :
The fast way
- play a mana accelerator creature turn 1 or 2
- disrupt your opponent turn 1 or 2
- play a bomb on turn 3 : natural order, pattern, show and tell
- yell Timmy!
The slow way
- Disrupt with thoughtseize/duress/cabal, sack your noble or birds
- Play a goyf
- Play a survival, some more goyfs or iona or Play a 4cc bomb and win.
Search :
Natural order brings progenitus
Pattern of rebirth brings emrakul most of the time
Survival brings in a chain of goyfs, iona or even emrakul with some extra effort.
Show and tell works with pattern (play pattern around a counter), a big fat creature of course and survival to tutor the latter.
Mystical tutor searches for show and tell, natural order or cabal therapy, depending on your hand.
Removal :
Who needs it when yours is bigger? ;)
Testing :
Little. Merfolk was apparently a decent matchup.
Disadvantages :
The deck could use brainstorm or sensei's divining top, but I do not know what to cut :)
Thoughts? Ideas?
