So after selling most of my Extended cards and keeping only some Legacy Staples and a handful of White Stax I quitted Magic before Conflux was released. My gaming time diminished as my interest on extended started to reduce and the shortage of money prevented me the access to Legacy.

However I miss strategic depth of this game and the deckbuilding. Don't get me wrong, Team Fortress 2 and Pokemon are incredibly deep but they are different tastes and different kind of fun and I have not been able to cover one with the other (I only lost more free time, actually XD).

So I have decided to return as a pure competitive player, buying only the cards I need for the deck I will use and refraining from anything magic related other than tournaments. Tournaments are fun, being trapped in a smelly room with the same oversexualized kids is not. This means renovating my DCI card or something because I lost it along with my WotC forums account.

I think that if I can afford what's left of my Armaggedon Stax deck exept for the 4 Moxen I will get back to this. Unfortunatedly I don't really know a lot of places to buy cards at a good price and much less that sell to Spain .I can also play with Workshop aggro for a while given that they use mostly the same cards and Juggernauts are very cheap.

Now, it seems that the combat rules have changed and the card prices have skyrocketed. Tarmagoyf is 75 dollars now! I have never seen such a price on a card. The most expensive cards were duals and moxen and they were like 20.

Were because now duals cost not one but two of your eyes.65 dollars for Tundra? Back one year ago they were at 25 or so and I saw Underground Sea rise to 35 or so but now this is incredible, that's way too much for just a manabase.

Fortunatedly it seems that there's a lot of people asking for reprints to bring down prices and Wizards is already cincurventing the Reprint Policy (And they are reprinting Mox Diamond, that is relevant to my interests).

So, what do you think? Too expensive? Ideas? Input? How many times Magic has died while I was gone?

Well, it was supposed to die with the M10 rules update but didn't. I can't really think of anything really late beyond that. T2 is supposed to have died, same with everything. I have yet to see this happen so nothing in that regard.

They announced about a month ago that after this year they are not printing any more cards off of the Reserved List, period.

I've been put in an interesting situation myself. A couple of years ago I sold off 99% of my collection before I moved to Alaska. Up here the Legacy community is myself and my wife... there are some folks who play pretty casual legacy legal decks at the local store. Of course T2 reigns supreme but I refuse to spend gobs of money to play competitive decks, so for the most part I've been playing EDH. This has helped curb spending (except I've started pimping out my Azami deck) and EDH game are also pretty entertaining. As for the Legacy bug, I've cobbled together a couple of inexpensive yet competitive decks and I'm trying to leave it at that.
