[Deck] Eldrazi Stompy

I just made this deck and started testing it today.

It beat the crap out of lands, UW tempo and went 1:1 vs merfolk. It seems very strong.

Here is the list:

10 Eldrazi
4 pithing needle (because wasteland wrecks you)


I am experimenting with different eldrazi as the last 10 cards. I am reasonably sure that the 8 mana one needs to be there and the draw 4 cards one is quite good.

I think the deck needs a tad bit of work. It really depends on which 10 Eldrazi you're running, and how many of each. But, this is a nice place to start.

What's the game plan against any control-ish deck that has a decent clock? Seems like you'd just spend your time playing lands and lock pieces that they could mostly ignore, and then get wrecked by countermagic when you tried to play your relevant spells.

Pithing Needle and Chalice of the Void. They aren't friends. I'd try resolving the Wasteland issue with something different than Pithing Needle. Crucible of Worlds might be okay, but asks for more exploitation: Wasteland and Mishra's Factory on your side.

I found you need to stick to the 8-10 range eldrazi not try and get greedy with the 15ish mana ones. This deck is decent/strong against anything not running a heavy land disruption plan.

well the best eldrazi i have found is the one that returns another from your yard when you CAST him. that cant be coutnered really. In most cases 1 attack will win the game with annihilator.
