This is a list that I based off of the scapeshift Naya deck from extended. I am not a zoo player and there is no way I will take the time to play the deck in a tournament, but I think this list is interesting enough to post. If this idea has shown up here before, I apologize to the creator.

The idea here is to abuse landfall, vinelasher and KOTR to make a deck that can kill out of no where and play guys that are bigger then everything else in the format. Crop Rotation services as a 1 mana scapeshift at instant speed.

Creature Base
4 Step Lynx
4 Nacatl

4 Goyf
4 Vinelasher kudzu
4 Plated Geopede

4 Knight of the Rel

Nacatl and Goyf are big enough, and everything else interacts with landfall to become huge.

None Creature Spells

4 Path
4 Berserk
4 Crop Rotation

Berserk has the danger of being too all in on guys, but it seems to fit this deck very well. Path might be better as bolt, but you can path your own guys and it gets stuff out of the way.

Lands -
1 Plains
1 Mountain
1 Forest
4 Wind Swept Heath
4 Wooded Foothills
2 Arid mesa
2 Taiga
2 Savanna
2 Plateau
4 Flagstones of Trokair
1 Sejiri Steppe
1 Wasteland / Ghost Quarter

This deck may want 1x treetop as a crop rotation target, but I’m not sure. Waste is there to win off a mana screwed opponent, but quarter works much better with the deck and still deals with maze of ith. Fetch count might need adjusting.

Here is the idea behind the deck:
Turn 1
Cast lynx

Turn 2
Play flagstones and cast vinelasher or geopede. Attack for 2

Turn 3
Play fetch. Attack. Cast crop rotation. Sac flagstones and get a land. Croprotation into another fetch and use it. Lynx is 10 power and vinelasher (6/6) / geopede (11/11).
That is lethal damage or close to it with only 6 out of the 9 cards in your hand.

Scapeshift and Valakut could have a place here, but they seem too slow for the format. Like I said before, berserk seem really good, but it could be win more. Having removal might be better in that slot. Thanks for taking a look and tell me what you think.

Also, Berserk counts as removal.

I think you'd be better off with New Frontiers or Clear the Land than Scapeshift. Ultimately, this concept suffers because there is a shortage of quality critters for it- especially at the 1cc slot -- Steppe Lynx, just isn't enough, and Nimble Mongoose doesn't really fit the pump concept, so you'll end up looking at Wild Nacatl/Kird Ape/Loaming Lion...

How about Rancor? It sits on a Steppe Lynx or a Geopede and is reusable!

What about Veteran Explorer instead of maybe Wild Nacatl? It changes Steppe Lynx and Plated Geopede into decent blockers while making Scapeshift more viable. It seems you need another 1cc creature besides Lynx.

You need a way to reliably kill the Explorer to get any bonus. Rancor sounds alright. What about Fling? You can sac a small guy to clear out a blocker or do crazy pumping, swing, and Fling.

Also, if you're running a CR package, you should have a singleton Bojuka Bog to take out pesky GY tricks.

This list was excellent on MWS, when I still had it on Windows:

Hopefully that gives you some ideas.

Nimble Mongoose > Nacatl, since you are not running equipment. With Crop Rotation and Fetchlands your grave fills up quickly.

Also, the way you are going right now is sub optimal IMO. You are playing 25 land. Aggro that plays 25 land? Just play a bunch of fetches instead. It was a much better use of deck space in my experience.

Crop Rotation is too powerful for you not to use it with a toolbox. I liked it with mana denial. I see you already tried that with a singleton wasteland, in which case you'll have to drop PtE or shit won't get done. Obviously you are just using it to get rid of problem lands since you only have one. IDK, the Zoo shell didn't work too well for me.

Lots of good stuff here. The land count does seem to be a bit on the high end. I'm going to make a few changes and throw this against a few stock lists. I'll post up what happens.
