I personally don't really care much for altered cards and I don't think they're that awesome (even though some look really nice). So this topic is meant for people to appreciate the original artwork (again). You can post your favorite art work here. I would prefere a 'hidden gem' other people (newer players) might not know.

They don't dare making more art like this. Which is a total shame if you ask me. I like the new art, it blows you away. But for some reason, the most beautiful card is an Alpha Time Walk. The weird corners, the big letters, and the total awesome art. It all fits.

I understand why you like it, but the image is a bit weird to me. It's more like someone painted a beautiful landscape with a waterfall in it, and someone else added the flower in a completely different style. It just doesn't fit.

QFT, the Mirage basics are all pretty awesome.

Also, the pictures would not come out the same, but the Urza's Saga basics are impossibly hot in foil (either as Arena promos or as Tenth Edition reprints). They're nice when not foil, too, but the foil brings out so much in the pictures.
