Alright, my store is having a series of formats and one of them is "vintage pauper". Vintage pauper is essentially like classic pauper from MTGO, but we are actually using cards that hasnt seen online publishment.

I decided to run Parlor Tricks (as it is my 1st introduction to control)

Here is my current list:

5 Island
5 Swamp
5 Mountain
3 Terramorphic Expanse
2 Dimir Aqueduct
2 Izzet Boilerworks
1 Rakdos Carnarium

3 Prismatic Lens

4 Ravenous Rats
4 Steamcore Weird
3 Ninja of the Deep Hours
2 Izzet Chronarch
2 Mulldrifter
2 Dimir Infiltrator

4 Consult the Necrosages
3 Lightning Bolt
3 Innocent Blood
1 Death Denied
1 Echoing Decay
1 Rolling Thunder
1 Searing Blaze
1 Shred Memory
1 Terminate
1 Train of Thought

The deck is essentially a toolbox control deck, using Dimir Infiltrator or Death Denied to transmute a 2CC silver bullet.

I am wondering if there are common cards that are not available online that can be used on this deck.

Thanks for the help!

Again, what's the rules? Vintage implies you can use commons that are banned or restricted in Legacy? Pauper usually allows 5 uncommons at least the ones I have seen do. Can you have that?

Need some more info on the exact format.

Commons only leads you into Affinity. It's kind of dumb to get that deck intact.

Isn't that Peasant, not Pauper? MTGO Pauper doesn't allow any uncommons and the banned list (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Resources.aspx?x=magic/rules/Pauper) consists of only Cranial Plating.

@OP, you may want to rethink what is available in paper commons as opposed to online. If your store is allowing commons from any set, then that means cards like Sinkhole, which has never been made available online (yet), and Hymn to Tourach, which is an uncommon online, would be legal. The online meta and decks, therefore, may be different than a paper variation on the format.

Never played the deck myself but I know that control is bonkers in Pauper. So, why this is better than MBCu or Teachings?

Parlor Tricks is up there with the decks mentioned when it comes to playing level. I chose to play this because it's really good on picking aggro apart.
