So I'm pretty sure this was an obvious case of cheating but due to all the rulings I've been seeing where you can essentially allow your opponent to screw themselves over I want to bring it up anyways.
So my friend playing at a tournament a few weeks back with Reanimator plays Dark rit, already having a creature in the yard, and then uses a mana to Duress his opponent. His opponent "reveals" his hand by laying it down but does not give it to my friend. My friend chooses a card and then continues to play an Exhume. His opponent casts a Force of Will that he had hidden behind another card when he "revealed" his hand. My friend, not knowing any better, lets it resolve without asking a judge about the play. My questions are these:
1) When your opponent reveals their hand are you able to ask to actually take the cards and look at them? I'm assuming yes however,
1b) Is your opponent obligated to give you their hand or is it up to you to decide what will satisfy you as the hand being revealed?
2) Was this considered Cheating - Fraud or is my friend somehow responsible for not noticing that the card was hidden?
