Survival-lark

[perm]

Last thread got neckbearded, so here's the list again.

Arlighty, here's a rought list of stuff i've been running.

24 ~lands~

4 Reveillark
4 Momentary Blink
2 Phantom Nishoba
1 Squee
2 Karmic Guide (lark recursion, other cool stuff)
1 Peregrine Drake
3 Necrotic Sliver
1 Glory
1 Wonder
4 Coiling Oracle
2 Acidic Slime
2 Draining Whelk

4 Survival
3 Ghostly Prison
4 Mox Diamond
3-4 Chalice

The idea is to use Survival as a tutor engine obviously, which synergizes quite well with lark quite well, netting you two free creatures and a card in hand when reveillark is blunk. The list needs to be cut down, but you get the idea.

bump

The idea is solid, but it's way too slow for Legacy. In EDH, though, it's a beast. I've been playing it in my Angus Mackenzie deck for a while now.

I was thinking about using Recurring Nightmare with reveillark isntead of blink, but I am not so sure. Blink can EtB any creature, plus is flashbackable

Alright here's the list so far, it's really fun to play and can pull of some crazy things:

4 Birds of Paradise
2 Phantom Nishoba
4 Reveillark
1 Qasali Pridemage
1 Peregrine Drake
1 Glen Elendra Archmage
1 Big Game Hunter
1 Eternal Witness
1 Draining Welk
1 Rofellos
1 Glory
1 Wonder
1 Squee
1 Iona
2 Acidic Slime
2 Necrotic Sliver

4 Survival of the Fittest
3 Recurring Nightmare
4 Bequeathal
1 Pattern of Rebirth

1 Enlightened Tutor
1 Momentary Blink

2 Reflecting Pool
4 Savannah
3 Bayou
3 Tropical Island
4 Windswept Heath
1 Misty rainforest
2 Tundra
1 Underground Sea
1 Gaea's Cradle

Sideboard:
Chalice x 4
Leyline of the void

Maybes: hand disruption (therapy and thoughtseize)

This play kind of like survival, but not exactly. It easily generates enough mana to control the board with slivers and then recur them. I have not had enough playtesting against combo to give any insights on that, but i've had some successes against countertop
