Can I Dread Return a creature I sacrificed to pay its flashback cost with?

Paying costs is the last thing you do when casting a spell or activating an ability, while choosing targets is one of the first. This is why you can have Wasteland target itself. See rule 601.2 (http://yawgatog.com/resources/magic-rules/#R6012).
