UWB Affinity

This deck tries to be affinity with more disruption and possibly larger creatures. It is currently 61 cards and has what I feel is a bad manabase (which is very very vulnerable to wasteland) while keeping some of traditional Affinity deck's weaknesses. This is a very rough list (untested too) but I believe with some tweaks it might be able to work. It has two potential draw engines. The more reliable one is Thoughtcast while the less reliable one, but explosive when it goes off, is sacrificing Chromatic Stars to Salvage Titan. The Star/Titan engine gets you three cards and puts a 6/4 into play for free if undisrupted. Here's the deck.

MAJOR PROBLEM:
Folds to any kind of counterspell. I'm looking for room for more lands and possibly fitting in Argivian Find and possibly Reconstruction to sort of avoid this.Also Mana base seems weak to me.

Pentad Prism instead of Lotus Petal? Same-turn mana fixing or future turn one-time mana acceleration, and stays around after that for affinity or to sacrifice to cast Salvage Titan.

You forgot cranial plating.

@ Hanna's custody, modular generally allows for affinity to not really care about spot removal...

@ mishra's factory...blinkmoth nexus has flying which is really good with cranial plating.

Oh and springleaf drum is probably better than chromatic star...you are trying to run 3 colors.

You can't run cranial plating with Hanna's custody.

His point was to drop Hanna's Custody and then run Cranial Plating. Custody is horrible. You can just sac the artifact in response with Ravager, or move the modular counters to another creature, or vial in Ravager in response.

If that's the case then just drop white all together and run red for shrapnel blast or whatever card they are running today.

I edited the decklist and added Vials, Pentad Prism, Cranial Plating, and Blinkmoth Nexus. I cut Hanna's Custody, Lotus Petal, and Mishra's Factory. I also cut 1 Myr Enforcer for 1 Salvage Titan. Any other input to make this deck competitive? Can it be competitive? I've always thought Titan was underused.

I really don't know that Affinity with Salvage Titan can be viable. It's just way too easy to get 4-for-1'd, even if you're just saccing Chromatic Stars (which isn't a good card to begin with).

Also, Arcbound Worker is bad. Since you're in white, at least run the 2/2 for 1 from Shards block, or replace it with Roterothopter for more flying cranial goodness.

I don't see why not to run 4 Master of Etherium. I can't remember the last time he was smaller than 7/7 when I cast him.

Why the one random Canonist? If you really want to run it MD, trash the Tidehollow Sculler and run 4 of them.

Now that I think about it, have you ever tried running Erayo with Salvage Titan and Canonist?
It might be garbage, but I think it might be the only way to get Salvage Titan to work.
If you load up on Affinity spells, cheap mana artifacts like Pentad Prism and C.Star, and run 4 Erayo, 4 Canonist, and 3-4 Salvage Titan, you might actually be able to pull off the lock.

Yeah worker is bad. I cut it for court homunculus as suggested. I moved Canonist to the SB and bumped Master of Etherium up to 4
