I love me some control decks with combo finishers, but lately I've been having trouble finding some in legacy.

My question is this: Are there any control decks with combo finishers in legacy? Preferably ones with a mainly blue base?

best I can think of is some Enlightened tutor combo with sensei sensei brain freeze kill.

Counter-Top thopter is the main one right now. To a certain extent Dreadstill qualifies.

Quinn is the only one I can think of right now, although it isn't blue-based.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. How competitive is either Quinn or Countertop Thopter?

Countertop/thopter is extremely competitive, by far the most competitive mentioned.

Leyline/Helm is another combo you could work into a control shell.

What does Leyline/Helm look like?

It's Leyline of the Void + Helm of Obedience. You activate the Helm for at least 1 on them and it will mill them for their whole library.

I have seen a semi-decent combo controll in the form of a UB doomsday/shelldock isle/emrakul deck.

Does Thoptertop have 'Goyf and the other aggro stuff?

Not really. (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?16836-CounterTop-Thopter) Just heavy control. Uses/abuses enlightened tutor to set up combo or control the game, but isn't just toolbox.dec, although it can be tuned to have more maindeck answers and be more of a toolbox.
