Can it become a rule that decks posted in the New & Developmental Decks fourm must be card tagged, please?

The only issue with this is that a lot of people, myself included, don't know how to do the card tags.

Maybe you should cry about it some more instead of just looking up the cards.

lol, I've been on here since Beyond Dominaria was around and I still have no idea how to make those. Never seen a thread about it either. I wish I could find it so I could make fun of people who don't know too.

As a side note, whenever you see a forum poster doing somewhat cool that you don't know how it's done, if you use the reply with quote function, you'll normally see the tags they have used so that you'll be able to learn the trick.

I definitely think it is necessary; any time a decklist is posted in general it should have to be tagged. (it takes what, 15 seconds?)

It's not as easy, the card tag has restricted functionality and requires specific formatting. Pasting a decklist from MWS or deckcheck won't work, for example.

Well if you want people to care about your deck, type it out. Or, at least have the common knowledge of what cards people should know and what they might not know. You can post the MWS list and tag 3 of the cards that are obscure. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what Tarmogoyf, Stoneforge Mystic, Vindicate, Tundra, etc. are. Not so much for Restore Balance, Violent Outburst, Fieldmist Borderpost (using that deck is a bad example since almost every card should be tagged, but it's the only thing I can think of since I just looked at that thread).

While I'm of course a fan of card tags, I was merely pointing out to the above poster that using them requires more commitment than what he thinks.
Count me in favor of mandatory tags. I have the luxury of not having to decide on how to enforce this rule, and that makes me happy. But I will say that it is clearly the direction to go.

Not in the New & Developmental Decks fourm, which is where I suggested this rule be implemented.

I don't think it should be a rule on the same level of correct spelling or not spamming raw decklists, but I'm in favour of at least making it a strong recommendation to prospective N&D posters. Somebody should do something about it.
...oh. Fuck.
