Liliana's Caress, (1B; Whenever an opponent discards a card he/she loses 2 life)

Having more than one of these out at a time do their effects stack? I'm not sure simply because it isn't causing the damage itself but a passive effect.

Yes, they each trigger and go on the stack individually.

"Whenever" is a trigger effect, so yes.
