Hey, I'm going to be in San Diego for a few days, and I've heard of this dealer named Don who is supposed to live in or around San Diego. He's supposed to offer great prices on singles, but he doesn't have an official store. Supposedly, he's very well known in the SD area, but I have no idea how to get ahold of him. Anyone know where he hangs out?

The Balboa chess club. Don Garret is the man you're looking for. Skinny old hippie with a long ponytail. The man is a godsend if you're looking to buy or sell. His general markup is $1 over what he buys at. I think his email is still digearts@cox.net. Any magic player in SD should be able to put you in touch with him though.

That's hilarious, but I don't know if i'd trust it.

Thanks man. I've sent an e-mail, but I'm really hoping to catch him before I leave next Tuesday.

Hey there, I just wanted to offer some more information in regards to Don. There's a huge warehouse open on Wednesdays and Saturdays that Don has a booth set up in. It's by the 60 freeway and the exit you get off on is Fairway. Apparently, he commutes all the way from San Diego because he gets a lot of buisness over here. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely come check it out if it's closer to you.

This warehouse is called Frank and Son's. If you're driving down from Bakersfield Saturday it would be a nice detour. http://www.frankandsonshow.net/
