Just want some clarifications. Playing an opponent on MWS, and these issues came up:
If I equip a Sword of Fire and Ice to my Blinkmoth Nexus, does it fall off at end of turn?
If my opponent steals one of my creatures that is equipped, with something like a Sower of Temptation, does the equipment fall off or stay on?
Thanks.

It will fall off during the cleanup step (when Nexus ceases being a creature), since Equipment can only equip a creature.

It stays on. However, you retain control of the Equipment, so you can still play the Equip ability of the artifact (to attach it to another legal target, i.e. a creature you control) plus whatever other ability the equipment has (so if the stolen guy has a Jitte, you get to use the counters; if it has Sophie, you draw a card and choose what to Shock; etc.).

A couple of relevant quotes from the rules:
301.5d. An Equipment's controller is separate from the equipped creature's controller; the two need not be the same. Changing control of the creature doesn't change control of the Equipment, and vice versa. Only the Equipment's controller can activate its abilities. However, if the Equipment grants an ability to the equipped creature (with "gains" or "has"), the equipped creature's controller is the only one who can activate that ability.
704.5p. If an Equipment or Fortification is attached to an illegal permanent, it becomes unattached from that permanent. It remains on the battlefield.
