Don't think this is a tournament that I'll allow myself to miss.. Nice prizes! Nice to see this kind of structure in Rochester for a change.

just have to put this in here: one thing I'll never forget, Slayer's advertisement for their aptly named album. It was plain white with an up-side-down golden cross, and it read; "09-11-01 God Hates Us All" hehe, hilariously bad timing.
As for the event, my wife is still planning our daughter's b-day party for one of the first weekends in Sept, she was made aware of this event, but if I miss the event, you'll know where I'll be.

5 hours is a little too far for me, probably. Also, I'm booked that weekend. Good luck with the event.
Also, your credit card merchant may bar you from advertising / charging a surcharge on credit card transactions. Just letting you know.

I'll most likely be there with my usual bag of shenanigans!
Even assuming I'm around, that's unfortunately the weekend of GP Portland.

So is this the alternative venue for Jupiter Games' events or is another TO conspiring with Eli? Either way looks solid: marking my calender.

Jupiter Games currently has no alternative venue's. We like running our stuff from home base for now, but who knows what the future may hold.
Conspiring seems like an evil word lol, but I am working in "conjunction" with another TO for this event. Jupiter Games is a team player =)

Our goal at RIT is to build the community of Legacy players at all levels. We aren't a store. We're more like a club.
Working with Eli to make this a Qualifier is a good fit for our goals of promoting legacy in our area. RIT has the spacial capacity to handle a GP sized event (Main hall 60,000 sq ft). Thats a lot of room to grow!

Obligatory trash talk:
I'm taking first. Fuck the rest of you.
Anyone who beats me in the swiss can claim shots (assuming they're of age) from me afterwards if they want to come out and celebrate my victory afterwards. Anyone who beats me in top 8 owes me shots.

So here it is:
Top8 with MUC + $50 cash prize to the person who pilots it.

Fuck, if only I could stay in town instead of heading back to Ithaca for the parties I have to attend there. Oh well, at least after I beat you in the swiss AND top 8 we'll be even on owing shots so I won't have to worry about it.

So when I beat you in the swiss, can you just give me the money you would have spent on shots? (Seeing as I'm a young child)

Jon Barber & James Rynkewicz split finals with New Horizons (or something along those lines). 3rd/4th was Nick Patnode with Goblins & David Elrod with NL Thresh. 5-8 was me with Train Wreck, Eric English with Vengevine Survival, another Goblins, and Team America as mentioned. 50 players.

I will post Decklists tomorrow.
It was a good turn out.
Also, we got a donation from the school to add to prizes, which paid for 13-16th place's free entry into the next Tournament at Jupiter games.
The Donation was from the MS in Innovation Science Program.
http://saunders.rit.edu/graduate/innovation_management/index.php
Despite the generic look, the program currently has 100% placement and just over $100,000 average first year pay.
The program has had great success in recruiting competitive gamers in the past and would like to continue to do so. If you are interesting in a graduate degree, or generally more information on gamer-friendly graduate programs please apply.

Went 4-1-1 only losing to getting lost for 2 hours trying to find a sign to point me to the innovation center. Sucks made my breakers crap and ended up in 9th after drawing myself out of t8. Kinda irrelevant since I had to work at 4 am anyway and I wouldn't have been able to play t8 regardless but still. FYI I was playing lands and didn't drop a game all day.

You better watch out James, cuz right now my top 8'ing percentage is beating you 80% to 66% (4-5 to 4-6). Given the fact I can attend every single event up until the championship in June, I guarentee I'll pass you're point total and claim that mox pearl.
