I don't know if this has already been opened somewhere else, but does someone have collected the GP: Columbus lists? I mean, not only thee top8-16-32, but also those which made day 2. I'm searching for Tommy Kolowith's list and Gus Schade's (yawg07) one, that's why I'm asking this. If anyone has them, please PM me.

It kinda of fits in here, since it is a list that made Top 32.

MonoR Burn from Patrick Sullivan and a very, very excellent report.

This quote was awesome:

This was my only opponent who wasn't a chill dude. His shirt said, "I love multiple orgasms", which was pretty sweet because I nutted on him twice.

Thanks for posting this, was a nice read. I've been looking all over the net for more day 2 decklists, they sure are hard to find. Seems not many people are posting theirs. Looking for an updated Zoo list especially as I just built my first legacy deck! :)

I dissected Chapin's list from his deck tech video since I was curious about it. Might be off a card, but I think I got it correct. Only thing I don't get is the Spore Frog in the board. He doesn't have a Genesis to recur it so I was wondering if I missed something. I guess you could always use Emrakul to recur it, but that's fairly mana intensive.

Emrakul shuffles Frog back into your library so you can keep getting it every turn.

Yeah, it's actually less mana intensive than Genesis.

Not only that, but also you can protect the Spore Frog (and everything else) in your graveyard from hate by putting Emrakul in there in response. Not only THAT, but also Genesis causes you to lose your draw each turn, so it's a bit like treading water.

Genesis

It just clogs up your mana for the turn, but nothing more.

OOps, my bad. I thought it was a Volrath's Stronghold effect. Thanks.

Still, not only clogs your mana on your turn, but also, as I said, you can't protect your things as easily. There's plenty of grave hate and relying on Genesis just leaves it out there.

Won't it be the same amount of mana to do the loop correctly?

To Return a creature via Genesis = 3 mana

To Discard Squee to grab Emrakul = G
To discard Emrakul to Grab Squee = G
To Dicard Squee to Grab Spore Frog = G

If you don't take the extra step to Grab Squee you won't be sure of a creature in hand to survival for the Frog the next turn.

It does save a spot in the deck, which is probably the more important savings.

You can do it EOT, I guess.

To Discard Squee to grab Emrakul = G
To discard Emrakul to Grab Squee = G
To Dicard Squee to Grab Spore Frog = G

1) On your opponent's turn, sac Spore Frog. EOT discard Squee to get Emrakul.
2) Untap, get back Squee. Discard Emrakul to get Frog.

Pat Sullivan is a master. He was also kind enough to sign my Grim Lavamancer's at Pro Tour San Diego.
