Creatures that just deserve to get sent farmin', either because they are a threat on the board (to you) or you just can't stand the sight of them and they make you want to ralph.

Mogg Fanatic, I will get to plow one eventually. I finally did get to Wasteland a Fetchland, so plowing a fanatic can't be that high of a dream. I hate that little goblin with a passion.

Always loved that card. Look at how the knight is looking at her rack while he's boasting about the size of his 'sword'. This from the same set that gave us Elvish Ranger.

I plowed a Progenitus once. But then again, I also had an active Humility on the board.

Jaya Ballard, Task Mage because she's good at performing "tasks", Master Transmuter she makes you call her Master... I think most of us can get behind that one, Oriss, Samite Guardian because lets face it, she almost looks like Leia in slave costume, obviously Lost Soul, Auriok Champion,Dakmor Sorceress, dryad sophisticate, and to make everyone feel dirty, Little Girl

I would make a point to plow any little girl I see.

I keep thinking that I should buy a bunch of foil Little Girls and put them in the first page of my trade binder. So you open it and it's full of shiny Japanese Little Girls or something.

That would be awesome.

All of you guys posting joke creatures are assholes. It's not that funny.

Tarmogoyf is not that great of a pick. He is not an "answer me now" card, he is just a really good creature. Immediate plowing implies that you answer now or you are pretty much screwed.

Dark Confidant, Mother of Runes, Lord of Atlantis, Painter's Servant, Goblin Lackey. Those are the five top candidates IMO, if you don't count jitte carriers or NO sacrifices when your opponent's board is light.

...except his question is idiotic because important Swords targets vary by the deck you're playing, the deck your opponent is playing, the board state, what other removal you have, etc. For example, Lord of Atlantis is essentially irrelevant to you if you're playing green-white aggro; Rejeerey is a much bigger issue because it can tap blockers or untap Vials to make lots of Merfolk at once. Dark Confidant is an issue if you're behind on the board, but a Dark Confidant in Aggro Loam is a very different beast from a Dark Confidant in The Gate, and how worrisome each of those are also depends on your deck (Counterbalance decks are generally much more worried about the Dark Confidant from The Gate than the one in Aggro Loam). Lackey can be a pretty poor Swords target depending on how many one-drops and removal spells you have, whether you're on the play or the draw, etc. I would almost never Path a Lackey if I'm playing Zoo, for example.

He's basically asking the equivalent of, "What are some pick orders for [Draft Format X]?" Pick orders are fine for the first few picks of pack one, but after that rigid adherence to them will generally make your life harder. It's better to be able to read signals, know what colors are open, know what cards would be better with what you've already picked, etc. In fact, pick orders are pretty useless in most cases.

Hence all the joke creatures. The question doesn't lend itself well to serious discussion.

Honestly, I agree with Aggro_zombies. Listing the usual suspects doesn't help us, especially without going into depth about 'why' it merits StP. It would be better to post examples in context and ask "should we plow it?" We won't learn much from obvious cases (U/W Landstill going end step StP on a 1st turn lackey to drop Standstill on turn 2); we might learn something from exploring cornercases and borderline examples though.
