I'll be in Italy for about 10 days and am considering taking a deck or two with me in case there is the chance to play some games - or even attending some local tournament on the weekend.

So i'm in Udine for work from Tuesday 24 August until Saturday 28. After that i'll probably be going to Florence for a week (until Thursday 4 Sept).

So, any players/tourneys in the area?

EDIT: Yeh, and if anyone can recommend a decent hostel to stay in Florence, that'd be great :)

You are such a Magic tart! You at Nats this weekend?

PS - very jealous of you going to Italy!

I have no idea about Florence, but I don't think that there will be a tournament in Udine in that period. But you can go in the shop in "via Portanuova 4" and see if they organize something. Or you can just drop by to play some matches. There will be someone for sure.
There should have been a tournament in that period, but it has been delayed because of a Magic Marathon the 28th-29th August in Trieste (close to Udine). The Marathon will be by night (starting saturday afternoon and ending sunday morning) and will be played in groups of 3 people. It includes Legacy, Standard and Draft.

 Man, that Magic Marathon sounds great, i'll considering going to Trieste for the weekend since it's so close to Udine - and i can even visit Miramar castle which i've always wanted to see. Where can find more info?

Yeah I'm interested as well. I'm going to be in Bologna from August 2011 to May 2012.
