I love how Auriok Salvagers + LED gives you so much interaction.
I saw Salvager Game, but, not content with Green and loving how storm decks play, I came up with the following list:
3 Auriok Salvagers
3 Lion's Eye Diamond
4 Chromatic Sphere
1 Pyrite Spellbomb
1 Aether Spellbomb
4 Death Wish
4 Trinket Mage
4 Infernal Tutor
4 Sensei's Divining Top
3 Ponder
4 Brainstorm
3 Lim-Dûl's Vault
3 Lotus Petal
4 Dark Ritual
4 Polluted Delta
2 Flooded Strand
2 Marsh Flats
2 Underground Sea
1 Scrubland
1 Plains
1 Swamp
2 Island
SIDEBOARD:
1 Auriok Salvagers
1 LED
1 Bitter Ordeal
1 Earthquake
1 Pyrite Spellbomb
1 Krosan Grip
4 Serenity
3 Defense Grid
other things
CARD CHOICES
The win cons need no intro.
Death Wish: The flexibility of wish boards always fascinated me, and Living Wish just doesn't have the reach that I'm looking for. The life loss is largely irrelevant if you intend to play the Wish and win on the same turn.
Trinket Mage: It tutors for what you need, when you need it.
Infernal Tutor: Works wonders with LED.
Lim-Dûl's Vault: Yet another great tutor. It isn't that uncommon to need to find 2 cards with a cantrip in hand, and Vault does that for you.
Lotus Petal and Dark Ritual: Without some accelerants, this combo is too slow for competitive Legacy. The presence of these cards allows you to win within the first couple turns of the game. Also Rit -> IT -> LED -> Salvagers, which requires just B mana to start off, allows for some sick lines of play.
THE WISHBOARD
This occurs if you get your Salvagers + LED infinite mana, and have a Death Wish in hand.
Bitter Ordeal: Now THIS is a card I've been wanting to break FOREVER. Now here it's not essentially "broken" since it does the same thing as Spellbomb, but if for whatever reason you've got to mill them, it doesn't get better than exiling their library. [Also note the cool interaction with Psychogenic Probe!]
Earthquake: Gets around Leyline of Sanctity and Solitary Confinement, if you're worried about it. Just cast when they're at a lower life than you. There could be a better option since Death Wish halves your life.
Krosan Grip: See: Counterbalance, Leyline of Sanctity, Leyline of the Void
Serenity: There are lots of artifacts and enchantments which wreck you. Even Pithing Needle gets there, which you can expect people to side in against you. Null Rod and Counterbalance also pose problems. Serenity solves all of these, and the only artifact we lose and care about is SDT, but tight play can get around that.
Defense Grid: I personally find this a great way to combat counters. They must counter Defense Grid or things start looking in our favor. At the same time, if they start dealing with Defense Grid, they lose answers to our win-cons. Also note that the one card we really care about resolving is Auriok Salvagers. If LED hits the graveyard, we can wait to recur it.
