This is a little number that I came up borrowing from extended decks now rotating out. I feel like with the rotation of Extended, Legacy will gain some players. And indeed I have been seeing some more rock type of variations from the extended format.

This deck does well against combo and decent at control. I would say the biggest problem is Merfolk and other aggro creature decks so Enginered Plauge is recommended in the side. I was playing a landfall deck and I sided it naming insect to stop the Plated Geopede. I really like Serra Avenger with the equipment, vigilance + flying is perfect with Jitte. Early on use the discard. This deck has a good long term game, using Basilik Collar or Jitte can be key for this with the lifegain. With DC you can really spit the creatures out combined with Vial most everything is at 2. Of course this is also a weakness with EE getting dropped but between the discard creatures and your Knights I think the deck will do fine.

Run 4x Vampire Hexmage and run a singleton Dark Depths.

Not a bad idea considering the knight can fetch a Dark Depths.

So I updated this deck and I have been having some amazing success against Goblins and Merfolk. Even Game 1 I can beat them sans Engineered Plague. I decided I had too many lands on the previous version. Also, jrsthethird, I took your suggestion about putting In the Hexmage combo and the big problem I had with it is the double black. This deck really wants to go Plains, Swamp Forest. Once you get those basics out your set. The deck runs very smooth. I also took out GateKeeper of Malakir for the same reason. And as for Stirring Wildwood I couldn't be happier it takes your creature threat count to the max. And MOM has been more then phenomenal. I was really happy about that switch.
