Arena and Dominating Licid

Ok, "does the creature still deal damage?" is the question. The scenario is:

1. I enchant my opponent's creature with a Dominating Licid
2. I choose that creature when I activate Arena
3. In response to the activation, I use the licid's ability to unattach and become a creature again.

Will the Arena's ability still resolve now that my opponent has regained control of his/her creature?

My guess is no because upon resolution the ability will check to see that the condition of "you control" is met and since it isn't it will not deal damage.

Arena asks for 2 targets: "target creature you control" and "target creature of an opponent's choice he or she controls."
As you said, the first target becomes illegal, because of control changing. While Arena's ability is not countered (there is still one legal target), the other creature does neither deal damage nor receive damage.
