Parking
Parking is the main reason most of our larger events are on Sundays
Behind the store there are numbered spaces.
Knight Ware has spaces 9, 10, and 11
but
on Sundays, our neighbors are usually closed

The streets are metered but not checked on sundays
The first street to the west of us is Lankersheim Blvd..
On Lankersheim to the south there is unregulated street parking
Just west of Lankersheim (north side of the street) is an open lot that says
additional MTA parking. It does not get used much on the weekends
unless the hollywood bowl is running something and then there will be signs

any questions, post, call or email me

thanks

I'll write up a tourney report once I get back from work, but here's a gem from T8:

Top 4, Game 2 vs Rb Goblins (on the draw):

Opening hand - Lion's Eye Diamond, Vengevine, Vengevine, Quirion Ranger, Fauna Shaman x2, Basking Rootwalla.

SOOOOO tempted to keep this hand, especially with 17/53 cards in my deck that would allow me to play half my hand.
(4 Forests, 8 Fetchland, Rootwalla 2nd and 3rd, 3 Elvish Spirit Guide)

I did correctly mulligan this hand however, since it's still cold to Leyline of the Void.

Just to update Lori's previous post:

Jacob (that's me) played LED G/u Vengevine.

Blue is strictly for Wonder and Daze.

That makes two decks that got to the finals after losing round 1.

Thanks for a great event, Lori. It would've been fun to see how the finals played out, but I've never seen such an obvious sign to split:

Me: What would you take if you won?
Jacob: The Seas.
Me: I would take the Jaces. Congratulations. Let's get out of here.

Should've just played Zoo with an anti-combo sideboard and dodge the 1 Survival player... merfolk-- the rats of the sea.

Let's all note the 100% t8 penetration of Vial Knights. Ban Knight Exemplar now!

yesterday had to be one of the most random, comical and frustrating tournaments I've ever played.

After all, if you played 43 Land and beat TES and Dragon Stompy 2-0, then surely you would think that the stars are aligned and it is your day to stomp, right? No. Because if the blue moon is out and you're trashing your abysmal matchups then that means the blue moon is also going to make you lose 0-2 to your most favorable matchups (merfolk/CBtop)

It was almost a completely tribal top 8. I find that quite funny actually.

It is mono green, with tropical islands and daze. It fits that description.

Considering there were fifteen elves in the survival deck it really seemed completely tribal. I decided on TES instead of Goblins, but I would have been better off with a gang this time. I totally expected more survival.

It was 100% tribal top 8, the vengevine survival had a quarter of his deck (16) elves:

This has been known for years. That is one of the best things about legacy. :)

Good tournament, can't wait for the next one.

What the ****l is Quirion Dryad doing in that first place deck (with a grand total of 5 (fife!), counting Wonder, spells that trigger it)??

Edit: Oh nvm, guess that's supposed to be Quirion Ranger.
