I have been tweaking with demigod for a long time, basically the deck had already tons of good matchups (actually I was 17-5-2 on the overall tornaments I did with demigod survival).
I then realised vengevine was actually better than demigod. I played some vengevine decks. I tested a bit the U/G madness deck which I don't really like cause sometimes you have games you can't lose, sometimes you have very weak hands.
I found that U/G madness had a very important variance on power, which means you can lose to bad decks.
I also tryied fauna shaman, more aggroish builds kind off zooish. They were not bad but merfolk could actually be a tough matchup, sometimes you could race them sometimes they had just too many lords to attack in.

So, what I did is played the ancient demigod deck by changing demigod to vengevine and squee to basking.
As before I enjoyed the deck a lot, it's a control deck that can switch roles from control, to aggro, to combo.
The deck has really a lot of good matchups :
- countertop (thanks to vengevine) intuition+survival is game, you have maw that doesn't care of counterbalance etc..
even turn one top turn two counterbalance is not so scary
- zoo here vengevine shines where demigod was really too slow because they could kill your orcish, you have vengevine+knight+firestorm+maw, no way you lose this matchup
-gobelin was a good mathcup for demigod survival thanks to firestorm and is better with vengevine, after side you bring burrenton+ancient grudge to make sure lackey/vial doesn't connect/resolve.
-control deck pernicious like : vengevine+top+intuition+survival+loam+ etc... you can only lose if they extirpate vengevine.
After side you bring grudge worm harvest and they need multiple grave hate to handle your deck.
-merfolk : merfolk is slightly favorable, but it's still one of our weakest matchup.
Firestorm is key here, instant wrath is very good if you have loam.
-Eva green : good matchup thanks to loam+top
-combo : we are a bye, I don't even want to dedicate slots to combo cause it's a waste of slots for a macthup which should still be not winnable.

I hope people will realize the power of this deck, the deck has solution to everything and is really consistant.

The 5 color manabase is actually not a problem, you play loam+top+birds.

Do try this deck !
