Worship ruling

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this ruling.

Scenario:

I am at 1 life with worship and a 1/1 token. The opponent is attacking with a creature equipped with jitte or Sword of Fire and Ice. Would the Jitte receive counters (or would the SoFI trigger)? Not sure how damage triggers are effected in this state.

Even better (and along the same lines) would a trygon predator's ability trigger if you had worship/creature/1life?

Damage is still dealt; Worship just modifies what dealing the damage does. All those things still trigger.
