Hi, i'm the developer of the recently deck database: TC Decks (http://www.thecouncil.es/tcdecks/) one user suggest me to create a thread about improvements and suggestions for the web and i believe it's a good idea.
Please comment all the things you like or you don't, what is strongly neccesary and what you like the web has, the web is growing everyday and it will do better with your help.
Thanks for all.

First of all I want to thank you for making the website. The loss of deckcheck is awful and I'm really happy that people have stepped up and created new websites. I like TC Decks and I think creating a visual view, like deckcheck had, would make it even better.
What I like a lot about TC is
- that the decks added immediately show up in the list.
- it's more up to date compared to deckcheck.org
- people are already using it
What I do not like is
- if you only fill in the deck type when adding a top 8 one can not see the decklists. That means that it is obligatory to add the deck name while it is not necessary to add the deck type.
- I realized that some lists show Spanish card names. make it English only. (auto-translation?)

I would appreciate an option in the search-engine: "Cards not in main deck". That way you could, for example, search for decks that contain Force of Will but not Daze, and so on.

Deckcheck's strick vs non-strick search function was very useful.
Basically, when I look at a site like this, I want to be able to search it with as many options as possible. Any options you can add there would be appreciated.
Your copy/paste into Excel is much better than deckcheck was, but perhaps a way to select multiple decks and export them all to Excel. Specifically, a way to export them to compare numbers of cards to each other. This gets a little complicated, but I generally create an Excel sheet that looks like this:
Tarmogoyf ____4 4 4
Jace__________3 2 3
Spell Snare __2 2 0
Top___________0 4 4
Where each row is a different players deck.
Developer of the deck, which is probably empty most of the time?

Hi, new update, tweaks in the format, now you can see the number of cards played in main and sideboard, image layer in a better place, three bugs fixed and when you search for an specific player or when you click in his name you can see a brief history about his achievements.
Waiting for our comments.
@Atropos: Visual view is in my task list.
@Mikos: Yes, i have to control the filling of the fields when you submit a deck, probably this week will be fixed. About auto translation it's imposible for me cause i haven't a card database in several languages. I'll try to translate it as soon as i have a minute.
@Taurelin: In the search-engine: "Cards not in main deck" is my task list too.
@Compare decks is something i want to develop but it's in the middle-end of my tasks.
Thanks for your suggestions.

I feel like the way I'm going to make suggestions is basically 'do this like how Deckcheck did it" but that's only because I utterly depended on that website, so I really appreciate what you're doing.
- merfolk is listed twice in legacy
- is there some way that you could make the code double check to see that a card is an actual card? the other website, mtgpulse does it. some decklists have emrakul and enchantress's prescence misspelled. it's a minor thing though, just something to consider
- can you please order the tournaments by date
- when you search, can you also list the results by date. honestly there's only 2 things relevant when i try to search for decklists. the date as that would mean how relevant the decklist would be to me, and the tourney size.
There are a few broken links from the Legacy Archetype list.
Example: Vengevine Survival links to "http://www.thecouncil.es/tcdecks/tipo.php?archetype=Vengevine%20Survival&format=Legacyclass=%22cartas%22" - There's an ampersand missing from the link, causing a 404 from the server host.
Looks good however. Thank you for all your effort!

I think it would be pretty cool to have an option to look at different versions for a deck. I don't know how to explain it, but I'll try.
For example the archetype Merfolk subdivided into different splashes. This could look like this:
Merfolk
Monoblue Merfolk, UB Merfolk, UW Merfolk (as links)
(all the lists)
And then you could click on Monoblue and get the list with all the monoblue versions. This would of course not only be cool for Merfolk but also for Threshold- or Counterbalance-variants.
I hope you get what I mean and I don't even think it's that much work, people could just tag the lists while they're submitting them.

@say no to scurvy: I'm doing step by step almost everything deckcheck has, I'll try to add some features deckcheck hasn't.
Merfolks is already listed once, thanks for advice.
I haven't seen the feature about the actual card, can you give me a link?
About order by date its something will be in the web during next week, I don't like the deck were ordered by date cause if i upload a tournament from a week ago and there's many tournament from las 2 or 3 days the new tournament won't appear, but i want to give the user the posibility of order the tournaments by date if he wants.
In the search feature i want to give the user the posibility of order by date, player, position, etc.
@rukcus: It wasn't and '&' missed in his place was a blank space missed, it's fixed now, thank for advice.
@Jona: I thought that was a very good idea, specially with all the Vengevine versions in the actual metagame, but by now i'm not sure how to implement it, i'll try it soon.
Thanks to all.

This is probably too early for this, but would it be possible to split up the different archtypes under the same tag? For example, two lists under the Elves tag in legacy are different: one is combo elves, and the other is Survival Elves. Perhaps put the decktype in brackets?

This basically is what I suggested. But other people asking for it indicates that it's a rather good idea. A thing that just came to my mind ragarding this is: what are we going to do with all the existing decks? If there eventually are all the decks from deckcheck, someone would have to go through all of them just to tag and subdivide them. I mean there were hundreds of Goblin and Merfolk lists on deckcheck. Do you want to go through all of them and order them by splashcolour(s)?
I too agree that multiple archetype tags would be useful for searching for decks.
Some examples:
"tribal", "combo", "control" etc
Therefore, you could have Tribal Control - ala Merfolk
or Control Combo for Bomberman. etc

Broke with chrome and IE for me. Kind of works with Firefox, but it seems uglier. The format seems stretched out and some text is overlapping for the names of tournaments etc.

Using Firefox and it looks good to me.
Thanks again for putting that site up, it's much appreciated.
In Chrome vers '15.0.874.106 m', the top nav bar is shown as a simple list.
Also, the table showing the decklist is difficult to read (low contrast colors).

I must admit...I love how you kicked Extended out of the four window and replaced it with Modern. Seems like an omen to Extended's most recent death...but somehow, like the walking dead, it always lumbers back out of the grave.
