Recently a friend of mine traded off to me 3 Dark Depths and I'd been looking to for a while make a Vampire Hexmage/DD (obviously I'm not claiming to have made the arctype) deck but when I got looking to it unless I wanted to splash into green to get crop rotation and even then there just weren't enough cards to do what I needed to do a full theme of the hexmage. Then I realized the same friend traded me off a combo he told me about the I was quite interested in. Thopter Foundry+Sword of the Meek and thought how it's probably another one to fit a full deck around and then it came to me to build a deck around those two concepts with the hexmages being early game winners and the thopter foundry sword of the meek combo could be a win condition in themselves or hold back an opponent until I can get out the Dark Depths, combine this with blue's natural card advantage and I think it could do well but wanted to see what you guys thought. It's also kind of a budget deck but it's still fairly expensive.

4x Dark Depths
4x Vampire Hexmage
4x Sword of the Meek
4x Thopter Foundry
4x Dark Ritual
4x Expedition Map
4x Daze
4x Counterspell
4x Brainstorm
4x Preordain
4x Trinket Mage
4x Watery Grave
4x Scalding Tarn
2x Misty Rainforest
3x Swamp
3x Island

Well any criticism/advice you could give would be most excellent thanks in advanced.

edit: Should note that the lands are really interchangable, I just choose what I had because duals and fetchs are expensive x.x
