I've got a couple of the japanese misprinted cursed scrolls, some of the german Wald misprints and possibly some misprinted ponders that'll be going out. I guess it mostly depends on who I get as to what they get. If its a list of simple wants, I'll see what I can find fast, but if not it'll be toys.

Eh, don't worry about it bud. It's all in fun anyway. It's not like everyone will send out packages as good as these. I'm sure there's plenty of people in this who can't toss out awesome stuff since their own collection is modest in the first place. It's like pot luck.

It's not like Christmas won't be back next year and maybe you can double up on it and really make someone shit Twinkies. I have a pretty impressive collection, but even I can't afford to be mailing out Duals and Forces like nothing. I hope no one really expects to get super Japanese foil staple cards that run $50 or more. We're not trying to reproduce the "Pimp thread".

If I get a pile of commons and random things, I'll be pretty cool with that since I know it will still be heartfelt and what the person was able to do. Funny thing is, I actually like weird crap anyway. Legacy staples I am fairly stocked on and would only be trade fodder to me. Now, crappy rares people have never heard of from older sets is my cup of tea actually. I'm a sucker for Fallen empires and The Dark. lol

Yeah, be in the spirit and do the best you can. In a way, it's like trading cards. If someone was offering you a $20 bill and you had to make a realistic offer for it you would not want to insult them but at the same time you would want to offer them something worth $20. That's the materialistic side of this, then on the other side (the generosity side), you give as much as you feel comfortable giving. I mean, I wish I had something cooler to give my person but I'm just doing my best with the cards I have to meet whatever expectations they have. The only card that is really a true staple in my package was Engineered Explosives and I don't think that's worth $20. Overall, my package should be worth substantially more but non necessarily sale value but in scarcity and coolness factor. I think this is what it's about.

(Playmat not included lol) Some of the stuff was hard to part with (like the Japanese Tempest Plains) but its for a good cause. So I am pretty sure I got one of the best SS's. Not bragging (well maybe just a little).

I got cards on my wishlist like a FBB Fireblast and Show and Tell (as well as several others). Cards I collect like Dandan. Cards there is no way my SS could have known I would like, like cloud pirates but I love cloud pirates!

All in all a super SS.

Some people have a much higher budget than others. You should be thankful. Every one of those cards belongs in a legacy collection.

I got a birchlore ranger, a reverent silence, a memory jar, a nether void, what I think is a precursor golem (not too familiar with scars images yet) all in not english! Not only that, but I got a blanked out brainstorm, a foily MM Tranquility (best art ever) and some other neat shiny things!

I overkilled my gift a little, but I wanted to. I knew the limit, but I happened to get someone who just happened to ask for a lot of stuff I had in my trade folder. I ordered nothing so I really had virtually no money into that. It was sheer luck really he had a wishlist with a bunch of things I had extras of. That and he likes foreign stuff and I rarely use those as I prefer the English versions because I like finding odd interactions and I need to be able to read them to do that. I tend to trade off foreign cards, especially Japanese and Chinese since I can't come close to reading those. So it worked out well. I did hunt for one card on his list, but ordering takes too long sometimes and I couldn't find that starter card. Stupid rare goblin. Didn't think it would be that rare.

Actually, I'm the only one who knows all the secrets. People can reveal if they like or they can try to figure it out. I posted pics of most of what I sent so I'm sure my person will be able to make the connection. That's part of the reason I wanted everyone to do alters so they would include them and that would be the clue.

This fine gentleman also gave me a package to KMC perfect fits; of which I go through about 6 packages a month from trading/deck making.

In all honesty I would have been more than happy with just the KMC sleeves and the Mint Korean Mindstone (been looking for one in nice condition for a few months now for my Karn EDH).

Then we'll all want our Plateaus back. Next year, I'll bite the bullet and give a Taiga and my Belcher deck will drop to 1 land (I guess it could run Stomping Grounds too).

On an unrelated note, I came home to a super-surprise from someone (I know who you are because I have the master list). Thank you so much, this makes a full playset of Argothian Enchantress (the only DCI one though). It really means a lot. I gave one of them away to someone who had never seen the card before but wanted to builld an enchantress deck so this fixes my deck again.

Loot came today. Got a CS reprint Swords to Plowshares, a MI Enlightened Tutor, a couple of Engineered Explosives (which I actually really needed! Thanks Santa!), a foil Relic of Progenitus, and some other crap that isn't important. EXPLOSIVES! Merry Christmas to me! :D

Sent my package Priority this morning, so should arrive to its recipient in a couple of days. :)

Well I mean there is a pretty wide margin of difference between some epic storm sweeping through and fucking up your belongings, and you being a klutz and dumping your cards in a snow drift. Just saying.

Wow santa spoiled me! I got some really cool cards (and a funny non-magic Christmas card) it makes me want to make so many different decks now and it makes me want to send out even more next year. Its hard to tell from the pic but from the caves or Koilos on are foils :laugh:
