So I'm new to MTG (began playing in March of this year), and I'm even newer to building competitive decks that may someday reach a tournament :)

My friend who got me into MTG has this great Pox deck and I've seen many others that are apparently very competitive in legacy. I'm wondering why I can't find a single discussion about this deck on this site. Is it truly nothing worth mentioning or has it simply not caught on yet?

His deck runs, among other cards:
Pox
Smallpox
Sinkhole
Hymn to Tourach
Duress
Mishra's Factory
Tombstalker
Bloodghast
Crucible of Worlds

Reason I ask is my friend is taking his Reanimater deck to a tournament soon and I know he was stuck between that one and his Pox deck.

Thoughts anyone?

Hey there, welcome to The Source.

Actually, the Pox Thread is in plain view in the Established Decks subforum here: http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?4300-%5BDeck%5D-Pox

Thank you so much, not sure why the search wasn't bringing up anything on it! Appreciate the help :)

Played against this tonight and it reminded me of my early days of legacy. Love the deck and surprisingly good against many different decks.
