Dreadnought ETB trigger + Mimic Vat

hi all
i was wondering if i can cast a deradnought with a mimic vat on the battlefield, and, after not paying its Cip trigger, target it with mimic vat and then have free dreadnought tokens.
Will the dreadnought tokens have the same Cip trigger? Or i can sneak them into play without worrying just as with illusionary mask?

The tokens are copies of Phyrexian Dreadnought, and they have the ETB ability (which will trigger if you create a token).

The tokens all have the ETB trigger, so you'll have to sacrifice 12 power worth of creatures or counter the ability to keep the tokens. If it said "when you cast..." instead, it wouldn't trigger (for instance you don't get extra turns by imprinting Emrakul).
