I started this looking for ways to build decks that do well vs. survival but also have game against the rest of the field. I ended up with a control/stax amalgamation that features lots of tutoring and several combo outs. The evolution went something like this: vs. survival decks, Leyline of the Void is strong. It is also useful vs. large numbers of other decks in the field. Additionally, it comboes well with Helm of Obedience. Both of those cards work with Enlightened Tutor. E. Tutor works well with top/counterbalance and thopter/sword. Dark Tutelage also works well with top. A backup, non-combo win condition would be useful. Planeswalkers are strong control elements that also provide tutoring and backup win cons. And that pretty much did it. This is the list right now.

(note, if you see me playing this online, I'm running the Rav duals because I sold mine and won't be buying real ones again until med4 hits.)

Artifacts
4x Sensei's Divining Top
2x Thopter Foundry
1x Sword of the Meek
1x Vedalken Shackles
1x Ensnaring Bridge
1x Helm of Obedience
1x Engineered Explosives

Enchantments
1x Runed Halo
3x Counterbalance
2x Dark Tutelage
1x Back to Basics
4x Leyline of the Void

Instants
4x Brainstorm
4x Enlightened Tutor
3x Swords to Plowshares

Planeswalkers
2x Tezzeret the Seeker
2x Elspeth, Knight Errant

Lands
3x Flooded Strand
2x Polluted Delta
1x Marsh Flats
1x Hallowed Fountain
1x Watery Grave
1x Godless Shrine
4x Plains
1x Swamp
8x Island
1x Academy Ruins

Sideboard
1x Ghostly Prison
2x Engineered Plague
3x Hibernation
4x Spell Pierce
1x Vedalken Shackles
1x Ratchet Bomb
1x Dragon's Claw
1x Relic of Progenitus
1x Pithing Needle

I don't think my sideboard is that great right now, and I'd like to get a single ratchet bomb maindeck as well as the fourth stp. I'm not opposed to moat or humility, but they feel redundant with Bridge already maindeck. The cb/top with no other counters plan is borrowed from the old Trinket Angel extended decks, though e. tutor and brainstorm both help the effectiveness of cb immensely. The lack of targeted enchantment/artifact removal is potentially problematic. And I think at least one Ethersworn Canonist is probably needed in the sideboard as well. The boarded Hibernations may be overkill, but the deck was originally designed to straight pwn survival.

Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
