This was the second legacy tournament that I've played in and was very fun. Good guys all the way around. Only 8 people showed up so if you live in the area and want to get into a 1.5 legacy tourney each Saturday then come on down! With only eight it was four rounds of swiss a few pack to be distributed. I played my incomplete belcher list.

Mana Base-48-

Taiga X1
Elvish Spirit Guide X4
Simian Spirit Guide X4
Land Grant X4

Lion’s Eye Diamond X1

Dark Ritual X4
Manamorphose X4
Seething Song X4

Kill-8-
Goblin Charbelcher X4
Empty the Warrens X4

Sift-4-
Street Wraith X4

Round 1- VengeVine Survival
Ouch this list is tough. I had no love and kept hands that I probably should have mulled. Calling this one a learning experience. i can see why people talk about banning Survival, we'll see. The guy I was playing ran a pretty standard list as far as I could tell. Fill the gy with vengvines and then survival and discard two rootwalls and swing. And so he does.
0-2

Round 2-Vengevine Survival
This was pretty fun, outside of the fact that I think he just had the better deck the guy had teh courtesy to board in several hate cards, a few traps and pithing needles. The needle resolved round 1, which was the turn after I dropped my hand to get a belcher into play. Shame that.
0-2

Most would drop given this start, but I want legacy experience and we have only eight players so I charge forward!

Round 3 Affinity
I'm stringly favored in the match up and go off turn one game one with belcher. Then after boarding in some answers my ooponet finds zero and I ETW for I think 16 tokens on the second turn.
2-0

Round 4 Dark Horizons
I get lucky here and go off turn one with belcher and then ride 14 tokens to victory in the second game. I got lucky here as my opponent had the answers, just no love.
4-4 games and 2-2 on matches means that I am exactly half as good as you for half the time:) Very fun tourney, well run and I got a pack of M11 for my trouble, can't wait till next week! Hate to plug again, but if your in the Madison area, come on over:)

Street Wraith is strictly filler. Would much rather have pyretic/desperate ritual. I would also cut Dark Ritual if you don't have access to Bayou for the other 4-pack of rituals.

Burning Wish is pretty necessary to get you above 80% to actually see a wincon. If you can't find them, consider Chandra Ablaze.

I'm buying the wishes this month, totally agree with you about their necessity. Once I have the LED's I will test and see how I feel about the rit package, my intuition though is to agree with you. I got stuck a lot looking for black for dark ritual. Street Wraith was nice for me this saturday, but with only four win cons he is a real help, I think with wishes and an 11 wincon package that he is less necessary. I didn't even bother posting the sidebaord because it was a joke, and won't matter until wishes are main. I could put a Bayou in there, but don't like the idea of going to land belcher. I think with the new rits in red this deck wants to go red/green. Anyway, gotta buy some more cards:) Thanks for the advice!

I prefer Street Wraith over Pyretic as playing with a 56 card deck (Better odds of drawing win cons) seems better than adding 1 more set of mana producers that only gives you 1 mana more.

I'm still buying all the core cards. Once I have those then the tuning begins. I already feel like dark ritual needs to go. I want to Manamorphose wityh only two colors and supporting three is frustrating because you have to call red on manamorphose and calling black as the other and drawing into tinder wall or vice versa with green into rit is really irritating. On the other hand I am not sure about street wraith as some draw to dig for win cons looks nice and teh deck hardly hurts for acceleration. Anyway, I'll have the core cards soon and then the tuning begins, we do the tourney weekly so more testing is coming!
