Phage the Untouchable

I'm pretty sure I know, but figured i'd ask:

Mimic Vat w/ Phage the Untouchable imprinted is game loss correct?

Also, if playing ANT and my opponent goes lethal w/ Tendrils of Agony, would I cast Mindbreak Trap in response to their casting Tendrils?

Only if the person with Vat creates a copy of Phage. You can imprint it without any penalty though.

You'd want to cast the Trap after the Storm trigger has resolved and Tendrils and the copies are all on the stack. Then you just target all of them to be removed. If you cast the Trap in response to Tendrils, Storm will still trigger giving them the copies.
