Legacy tournament 1/15/11 Southington, CT

Fables Comics (formerly Kevin's Comics) is hosting their first ever sanctioned Legacy tournament! If the turnout is decent, they will be hosting more Legacy and possibly Vintage tournaments, which would be awesome!

Details: 11/15/10 - starts at 4:00PM Sanctioned Legacy (no proxies)
$10 entry, prize support dependent on # of participants

Location: 5 N Main Street Southington, CT 06489-2518 US
the parking lot is located in the back.

I can attest that this shop is awesome. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. They also host weekly FNM Magic with drafting of the most recent set and $5 Standard tournaments on alternating Fridays. Wednesday night is freeplay night and there's usually a decent turnout for multi-player and EDH games.

If I wasn't already going to the ptq in Charlestown, MA on Saturday, I would definitely go to this since it looks to be about a 20 minute drive from me. I'll have to see about going for FNM drafts, since I've been missing out on those for a while now.

I'd say I'm game, but its a little over a hour away and no prize structure. I'll see if I can attend, would be nice to get to a legacy tounament for once.

I was originally informed that prize support would consist of some revised dual lands. Is this still happening? If not $10 entry seems a little steep.:rolleyes:

no idea of the turnout yet, come down and show support though! If this tournament has a half-way decent turn-out, it will be the first of many to come at the shop!

If this was on another weekend I would have made it as it's pretty close to me. If they have others I will make it if I can. If there are local players that want to playtest feel free to PM me. My closest store doesn't run open magic anymore and my weeknights are shot, but my weekend evenings are open usually
