One chapter out so far, Chandra is the main character and I can't believe I'm typing this.

wasn't that the manga that was published with the Anime-Style Jace vs. Chandra duel set?

I'd like to be able to chalk it down to different cultural standards or some such, but considering that every other female character is dressed pretty sensibly I really can't see any way for the artist to retain his dignity while turning Chandra into bikini-clad tween fanservice.

Not that she ever was an interesting character to start with, but still.

I think this is worse both when you compare it to the earlier PW webcomics, and when you compare it to "regular" manga.

However, if it lures more people into buying cards, I guess it's good for WotC, thus good for the hobby and thus good for us.

The manga has been out for a while now, but they did make the alternate art after the manga for the dual decks.

Edit: After reading it I realised this is a series being published a chapter at a time. I knew there was a manga book already available, however I do not know if it's the same story.

I discovered it just the other day with my gf in the room. She couldn't stop laughing as my face went from shock to disbelief. Ghost warden? I totally played with you.

Is it a manga about being on the rag? Because that seems to be the only thing Chandra does.
Maybe if the third one is playable somewhere, her tampon budget can go down.

I read maybe the first 5 pages, looks like a precursor to the Purifying Fire book that came out (which for a teen fantasy novel wasn't that bad)...

Meh, i'll pass on this though.
