Weekley Legacy Event in Chicago!

Come join us for a weekly Legacy event at Masters of the Game!

This event will take place on every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Please arrive before start time to ensure entry.

Prizes will be store credit based on attendance. 100% of the entry will be used for prizes! 5$ Entry.

Except the first Tuesday each month for 10$ w/ 1st place receiving a hard to find Legacy card. Please note that there will not be Legacy August 2nd due to Gen Con. Instead we are having an Insane tournemant on Sunday July 31st at 2.pm. 2) How is the layout of this? Are we playing the usual swiss or elimination?

1. Tournament will most likely start at 7:30 I just put 7 up to encourage players to get there early so we don't actually start playing at 8. If a steady crowd shows up we will probably run one tourney a month starting a little later (like 8) with a 15$ cover so we can do a sweet payout of duals, forces, what have you...

2. This will be swiss

3. Parking is extremely easy I live only about 6 blocks away and my lazy ass always drives because it is really easy. You can park on the side streets on the east side of Lincoln ave for free and not have to walk more than a block to the store. If you want to park directly in front of the store, you can, but will have to pay the evil parking meter demigods around 2-3$ until 9 o'clock.

Hope you can make it and help spread the word! I really want to play more Legacy and I think it's time that such a great city started a weekly.

I can't make it today, but I'll go there next week should there be another one. Though it does say weekly. I've got plenty of energy but, my legs are a bit sore. I just walked a total of of 12.8 miles earlier. I'll send this this link to my online buddies to help pass the word around.

Yeah it is nice to have an option to play Legacy locally w/ out having to trek 45 mins + to get out to the burbs. Hopefully you can make some future events and help spread the word so we can keep this going!

If that is the general consensus we can for sure start it earlier. Yesterday there was only enough for 3 rounds so we ended a little before 11. Some people don't get out of work 'till later and some come from a ways away so I felt this was the best way to generate a number of players. If more people ask for it start early I would have no problem asking the store owner to change it up.

Hopefully you can make it occasionally even if you start work in the we hours!

If you do your larger (duals and such for prizes) on the weekends, you may be able to get a larger crowd both in locals available and out of town people road tripping. I'd bet if there are enough prizes, there'd be a crew from Michigan that'd come over.

Is the weekly tuesday event still going on? Will there be another one in a few day? I am free and can join you guys this time. What time do you recommend to show up as far as sign ups and everything? If you guys are still holding the event weekly, I may be able to join you guys several times. Though, I don't have much time. I am scheduled to start my basic training for the US Navy on April 5th. I won't be a regular player there, but I can join you guys for a little while, and hope to have fun with the little time I have left.
