Got a fun deck? Want to post your latest list of Nourishing Lich? Not interested in making a deck much better? Can't afford to play Legacy? Then here's a forum for you.
LOL seems to be the right place to post my deck!

Ok is not the classical Nourishing Lich combo, this time will be a Flavor Deck between Good and Evil. BW Lich+Children of Korlis combo. Why play this list instead of Nourishing? 'cause the combo is only about two cards instead of 3, the manabase is only BW, when the lich combo starsts we can draw all the deck theorically and, damm, it's a BW Flavor Deck with Lich!

However get back serious, this is the list:

// Very stable manabase with only 6 wastable lands, 4 swamps to afford the BBBB of lich, when we haven't any mana accellerator.Artifact Lands to maximize the usefulness of Enlightened Tutor.

4 Dark Ritual
//we have to afford a BBBB mana cost, often with W surplus for the children and maybe another W for Protection.. WWBBBB in total for a safe combo. we need lot of mana accelleration.

// Lich enters, dryes all our life...and Children gives it back in form of precious cards..if what we drawn is not enough, by paying y a mere W we can draw another 1/4 of deck..and so on.The problem is: stay high of life before the combo starts.. the efficency cutoff is about 15 life to 12.. under 12 life is hard (but still possible) win the game. Tained sigil is an alternative to children searchable with the Tutor.

//Enlightened Tutor is quite obvious in this deck...but it doesn't find childrens for the win, so Sigil comes to help. Despeate Research is a less mana intensive (compared to berserch the queen and grim tutor) tutor solution without life loss, thinking that a x4 card we need it's about every (60/4=)15 cards counting the 7of initial hand and the 8th drawn at the second turn we have about 50% chanche to find out our card in the next 7...the redundancy of the deck helps to assorb exiled cards. An alternative i would test is Spoils of the vault cast on the "combo turn" to don't lost the efficency of Children. But the Combo activation cost will be of WWBBBBB for a complete tutored protected combo.


Ok this is the base.. i was testing olso the Academy Rector + Cabal Therapy + Phyrexian Tower tutoring system, but espose our combo only to other removals, and needs 1 more piece to be ativated (for sacrifing the Rector); on the other hand, mana fixes BBBB of lich.
The big problem of the deck are Aggro decks that lower our life down too fast and i don't found many protection option....Maybe Path to Exile/Sword?? ...also Peace Talks can bring us one more turn, but is low effective and PeaceKeeper is too mana expensive.
Facing other decks we can use an hybrid defence Duress/Orim for Control, and Leyline of Sanctity for Burn/Combo.

This is a neat concept. I would say that Desperate Research can probably be replaced by something better, but I'm not sure what. Have you considered Lion's Eye Diamond and Infernal Tutor?

yep i did. but my firends commented like this: "it would be another LED+INFERAL based deck with sikness from spot removals and 2 card to begin the combo.." in my opinion they are right. however i replaced Desperate research with Spoils Of The Vault... that's much better and less mana intensive.
if you're interested in developing this deck this is my last list.

I'm pretty sure you can't use fetchlands with Lich too well.

i don't think so.. we need to screw the draw, the cost of 1 life (-1 card draw when combo starts) before we cast lich is not a bad bargain. and when we cast lich we don't need to play any other land.

What the deck need is: 1) protection from counters and removal(lich), 2) protection to lifeloss/growing life to balance opp attacks 3)get the combo active within the 4° turn..

can you help me about that? D:

uhhh, you know that Lich and Tendrils of Agony don't work right?

It's copied however many storm is and then resolves one at a time....

don't not work,but is tricky....that's why angel's grace is in..with active tendrlill you continue to gain life => draw cards and before you draw the last cast the angel's grace

i know also the version with nefarius + sikening dreams..but isn't loss of life and needs e the shoal+wurm lifegain engine.. that's worst cause u need 3 card in hand to start the combo (but 1 less mana) instead of 2

another approach it would be Sanguine Bond with shoal+wurm and zuran orb for the win....but is very very tricky, 4 card combo and 1 more mana compared to lich + children
