We have room to seat approximately 50 Player's comfortably.

Tentatively the prize breakdown will be as follows.

12-20 people - Top 4 prize draft
21-26 people - Top 6 prize draft
27-32 people - Top 8 prize draft
33-36 people - Top 9 prize draft
37-40 people - Top 10 prize draft
41+ people - Extra Prizing TBD

I might try to make it down there, in which case I would be able to give some people a ride in exchange for gas money. No guarantees though.

I'll be leaving from Ventura the day of most likely.

Also does anyone have any insight into the metagame?

EDIT: I won't be able to make the drive down for this one, my car isn't too trustworthy right now.

We usually get 3-4 merfolk players with the rest of the field consisting of anything from dredge to zoo to countertop and all the rest of the top metagame decks. You can check our website for what the top finishers played at previous events.

I got 6th.

No other Knight Ware regulars Top 8'd. Bryan was in it up until the last round when we got pair.

23 players today. Prizing for top 6. Decklists for those who won a prize will be up on our website later this week.

Just off the top of my head top 8 was:

1/2 Vidi W. - counter top (not sure what build)

3rd - Alex Gellerman - zoo
4th - Marshall Fine - 4c countertop
5th - Liam Kane - tes
6th - Eric Heaton - mono blue merfolk

8th - Chuck M. - NO Pro Countertop

There was a lot of wastelands he didn't play against.
