Hi everybody!

I have one UB shelldrazi, and I like it very much.

Recently, I finished my own version of the popular Sheak and Tell, but the list is in tests right now.

But, with the new Mirrodim Besieged, two new cards bring my attention: Treasure Mage and Blightsteel Colossus.

This two new cards, in combination can be simple awsome!

My list are in tests, but is a quite simple: the shell protection of the shelldrazi plus the couple friends mage and colossus + the show and tell to bring the big one!

The mana base is very similar as the Sneak and Tell, but the splash is for black in here, no more for red.

My list:

Deck: Infect and Tell by Lammina/DEMI

Mainboard:
3 Treasure Mage
4 Blighsteel Colossus
----------------------------------------------------------------------- 07 Creatures

1 Sculpting Steel
3 Lim-Dulīs Vault
3 Senseiīs Divining Top
3 Stifle
3 Spell Pierce
3 Daze
3 Thoughtseize
3 Lotus Petal
4 Force of Will
4 Brainstorm
4 Show and Tell

---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 34 Spells

3 Underground Sea
3 Misty Rainforest
3 Polluted Delta
4 Ancient Tomb
6 Island
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19 Lands
#60

We have here a heavy protect shell to cast the show and tell with safety and offer security for the big one.

This can be, in theory, more consistent as the Sneak, thankfully for the LDV and SSDT, and have the most power of velocity, with a possible 1st turn Colossus drop, with backup.

The black splash could help against combos and other cards thats can hurt your strategy (StP, PtE, Sowers...) with the Thoughtseize, and the splash B offer a great velocity maker and digger, the LDV.

Another possibility for this list, is the addiction of more diggers like Ponder, Impulse, Preordain, Intuition...; or more hard counters, like Spell Snare or even Counterspell itself!

I like the idea of Sculpting Steel in the deck... maybe one more... maybe... or maybe not!

So this is it.

Please, comments!

Here's a suggestion :
7 virtual show and tell's to pair with your 7 virtual BSC's. It adds a lot of consistency paired with the tutors...

A good way to attain that ratio would be adding personal tutors.

For starters,

-3 Thoughtseize

+3 Counterbalance, you need a way to protect your win condition from topdecked removal.

Indestructable unfortunately provides very very little evasion in legacy, with so must exile et. Are you playing colossus over emrakul just for the possibility of a one-shot?

Lightning Greaves might help to protect Colossus and kill the same turn, but it's not very good for the deck in whole

I agree hear, shroud + indestructable will make your kill far more resilient. I think it is necessary personally

A great friend of mine give me this suggestion:

- 1 Sculpting Steel;
- 2 BSC;
+ 3 Emrakul.

Sounds pretty well to me!

If, in my opening hand I had a emrakul, goes for emrakul, otherwise, if I had a BSC or a Mage, goes for BSC ways!

The opening hand or the earlier draws/turns will be show what way (BSC/Emrakul) the player have trail.

Of course, the Emrakul sounds like the perfect choice always, but it cannot be easily "tutoreable", like the colossus, wich one can have a heavy counter shell to protect.

I like very much the lightning greaves, but I dont think this strategy "viable" in legacy.

One of my ideas was bring in one set of Counterbalances, but in some tests, the other counters or even the hard counters (ex. counterspell) conquer more positive results, but the idea of balances are not ended... maybe more tests for conclusive results!
