Quicksilver Gargantuan copies a creature with level up

Quicksilver Gargantuan enters the battlefield as a copy of a level 7 Lighthouse Chronologist and is 7/7.

Will the Gargantuan receive the level counters as well?

If not, when the 7/7 Chronologist gets to level 4 will it become 2/4?

When you copy a permanent, you copy it as printed. The freshly cast Gargantuan will have no counters.

710.2a. "{LEVEL N1-N2} [Abilities] [P/T]" means "As long as this creature has at least N1 level counters on it, but no more than N2 level counters on it, it's [P/T] and has [abilities]."

Per the rule for Levelers, the P/T will be set to the appropriate value.
